Vicente Vento

Founder & CEO, Managing Partner

Vicente Vento has over 20 years of experience as an investor, advisor, and senior executive in the telecommunications infrastructure and technology sectors. Vicente is behind DTCP's investment strategies, overseeing capital deployment and portfolio development. Over the course of his career, he has deployed over $3 billion in invested capital and executed more than $100 billion in announced M&A transactions.  

As the Founder and CEO of DTCP, Vicente leads the firm and serves as a Managing Partner. He is a member of the DTCP Infra and DTCP Growth investment committees. Vicente currently serves on the boards of Cellnex Netherlands, Open Dutch Fiber, Community Fibre Ltd., and maincubes. His previous board roles include positions at Scout24 (G24.DE), Ströer Media AG (SAX.DE), Cellnex Switzerland, Strato AG, Nexmo, Keepler, and Cellwize.  

Prior to founding DTCP, Vicente was the Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and a Senior Vice President at Deutsche Telekom from 2010 to 2015. During his tenure, he executed transactions such as the merger of TMUS with MetroPCS, the TMUS/ATT break-up fee, the sale of c. 7,000 TMUS towers to Crown Castle, the sale of EE to BT, the buyout and IPO of Scout24, the sale of T-Online to Ströer Media AG, amongst others.

Earlier in his career, Vicente held advisory and asset management roles at Morgan Stanley, Blackstone, and Royal Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund. Infrastructure and technology have been consistent focal points throughout his professional journey.  

Vicente holds a degree in business administration and MBA (Lic&MBA) from ESADE Business School.

Philipp von Bismarck

Managing Partner

Philipp von Bismarck is Managing Partner at DTCP and a member of the investment committee of DTCP Infra.

He brings more than 20 years of experience as a transactions lawyer and has been deeply involved in digital infrastructure transactions for more than a decade. In this role he has closely accompanied DTCP since its inception and was instrumental in structuring, negotiating, executing and implementing all of its infrastructure related deals.

Prior to joining DTCP, he was Founding Partner of M&A-focused boutique law firm Wendelstein, where he co-led the M&A department. Before that, he held positions at Hengeler Mueller in Frankfurt and Munich and at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. He currently serves as non-executive Chairman of the Supervisory Board of United Internet AG, a publicly listed telecommunications and internet service provider group.

Philipp studied Law at Ludwig-Maximilans-University of Munich and holds a law degree from the state of Bavaria and a second law degree from the states of Hamburg, Bremen and Schleswig Holstein.

Waldemar Maurer

Partner

Waldemar is a Partner at DTCP Infra.

With over 15 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, Waldemar specializes in TMT investments, particularly focusing on data centers and cell towers. Waldemar serves as a member of the Investment Committee at DTCP Infra and holds board positions at Cellnex Netherlands, Keepler, maincubes, Fiber Experts, and GreenScale. His past board roles include positions at Cellnex Switzerland and Cellwize.

Before joining DTCP, Waldemar served as an Investment Banker at both Lazard and Nomura. His expertise includes executing M&A and capital markets transactions spanning various industries, with a particular focus on TMT and leveraged finance.

Waldemar holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, Singapore/France, and a Bachelor of Science from EBS University for Business and Law, Germany.

Zahl Limbuwala

Operating Partner

With over 30 years of experience in data centers, Zahl supports DTCP Infra's data center strategy and portfolio companies to scale and accelerate their growth. 

He is Chairman of the Board of maincubes secure data centers and Greenscale data centers. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at AtlasEdge. 

Before AtlasEdge, Zahl had a long and esteemed career as founder and CEO of Romonet, a leading software business, founded in 2009 and acquired by CBRE in 2018. At CBRE he led strategy and was part of the senior leadership team for Data Center Solutions division, the world's largest supplier of outsourcing for data centers. 

He also served at BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT for more than 8 years, where he founded and chaired the committee for the Data Center Specialist Group which co-developed the EU code of conduct for data centers, which later became the basis for a number of data center related ISO standards. 

Zahl enjoys widespread international recognition within the data center community.

Stephan Grillmaier

Head of Capital Formation Real Assets

Stephan is the Head of Capital Formation Real Assets at DTCP.

Before joining DTCP, Stephan was the Head of Investor Relations at Arcus Infrastructure Partners, where he led the firm’s fundraising and co-investment efforts. During his tenure at Arcus (2016-2024), the firm successfully closed two funds with total commitments of EUR 1.21 billion (2020) and EUR 1.61 billion (2024).

Prior to Arcus, Stephan was a Partner at Aerius Associates and MVision Private Equity Advisers in London, managing several global fundraisings and maintaining relationships with limited partners across the EMEA region, the US, and Asia/Pacific. Previously, he was a Director at Swiss Re Private Equity Partners in Zurich, Switzerland, leading the team’s fund and secondary investment opportunities in Europe, and overseeing several investments in the Asia/Pacific region. Stephan also served as a Senior Investment Professional at VCM Capital Management in Munich, Germany.

Stephan holds a BA in International Relations from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and an M.Litt in Management, Economics, and Politics from the University of St. Andrews. Additionally, he completed the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.

Christoph Steffens

Operating Partner

Christoph is Operating Partner Value Creation & Scaling at DTCP’s Infrastructure Team.

His mission is to help DTCP’s portfolio companies in scaling their businesses from company and organization set-up and development, implementation of reporting, ERP and HR-systems & processes to finance raising and more specific topics in the areas of finance, HR, IT, and operational excellence.

Christoph has more than 25 years of experience in management positions in finance, operations, IT and HR in the TMT sector.

Prior to joining DTCP, he was CFO of STRATO and Managing Director of IONOS companies in the US and UK. He also worked as Managing Director and Director IT for mobilCom/freenet, Manager in the Corporate Finance Practice of PwC as well as in Business Development Asia/Pacific for Deutsche Telekom.

Christoph holds a degree in Economics of Technical University Berlin.

Aldo Cardoso

Managing Director

Aldo is a Managing Director at DTCP Infra

He brings more than 13 years of experience as investment banker in London covering Telecommunication clients across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining DTCP, Aldo served as director in the Telecommunications Investment Banking team at Citi EMEA, where he focused on Digital Infrastructure. During his time at Citi, Aldo supported numerous Telco companies on the monetization of their digital assets and advised institutional investors on mergers, acquisitions and divestments of digital infrastructure businesses. He brings a profound knowledge of the TMT sector in crucial target markets to DTCP.

Aldo is a CFA charterholder, has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Masters in Finance from London Business School. Aldo studied industrial engineering and graduated with honours from the Catholic University of Peru.

Bart de Jong

Managing Director

Aldo Cardoso is a Managing Director at DTCP Infra. 

He has over 15 years of experience in digital infrastructure investments, advising on the origination and execution of landmark transactions across EMEA. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2023, Aldo worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citi in London, in the Telecom, Media and Technology, and Digital Infrastructure teams, where he supported telco companies on the monetisation of digital assets and advised institution investors on M&As and divestments of digital infrastructure businesses. 

Aldo holds a BEng in Industrial Engineering from the Catholic University of Peru, an MSc in Finance from the London Business School, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Anselm Maur

Managing Director

Anselm Maur is a Managing Director at DTCP Infra. 

He has over 9 years of experience in digital infrastructure investments, advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Cellwize, Community Fibre, Open Dutch Fiber and Asteria. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2017, Anselm worked in the Investment Banking Division at Barclays in Frankfurt, in the German Coverage team, where he advised on M&A and capital markets transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. 

Anselm holds a BA in Business Administration from the Cooperative State University Baden-Wuerttemberg and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Iryna Doroshenko

Director Fund Management

Iryna Doroshenko is a Director, Fund Management at DTCP Infra. 

She supports the investment team in executing transactions and coordinates various service providers at the fund level. Iryna oversees aspects of the investment vehicle, including quarterly and annual net asset value calculations, and ensures a streamlined reporting process tailored to meet the needs of LPs. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2022, Iryna worked as the Senior Auditor at Deloitte and as the Senior Associate at PATRIZIA. 

Iryna holds a MSc in Economics from the Central European University.

Tim Hofmann

Principal

Tim Hofmann is a Principal at DTCP Infra. 

He has over 8 years of experience in digital infrastructure investments, serves as a board member at Keepler, maincubes and GreenScale, and has been involved in the management of companies, including Cellnex Switzerland and Cellnex Netherlands. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2017, Tim gained experience in the Investment Banking Division at Greenhill in Frankfurt, in the Mergers & Acquisitions team. 

Tim holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and an MSc in Finance & Private Equity from the London School of Economics

Jessica Boyens

Associate

Jessica Boyens is an Associate at DTCP Infra. 

She serves as a board member and has been involved in the management of Asteria. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2023, Jessica worked in the Investment Banking Division at UBS in London, in the Consumer Products & Retail team and in the Leveraged Buy-out Investment Division at CapVest Partners in London, in the Healthcare, Consumer and Business Services team, where she was involved in the execution of multiple transactions. 

Jessica holds a BSc in Business Administration and Service Management from the Copenhagen Business School.

Julius Carle

Associate

Julius Carle is an Associate at DTCP Infra. 

He has been involved in advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Asteria. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2022, Julius gained experience at Lazard in the Investment Banking team and at Deutsche Telekom at Mergers & Acquisitions team, where he was involved in the sale of GD Towers to Digital Bridge / Brookfield. 

Julius holds a BSc and an MSc in International Finance from the HfWU and an MSc in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from the University of Exeter.

Michał Filipczak

Associate

Michal Filipczak is an Associate at DTCP Infra. 

He has been involved in advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Community Fibre and Cellnex Netherlands. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2021, Michal worked in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse in London, in the Technology, Media & Telecom team, where he was involved in the execution of multiple TMT transactions. 

Michal holds a BSc and an MSc in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics. 

In his spare time, he enjoys kitesurfing, travelling and cycling

Laura Heitmann

Associate

Laura Heitmann is an Investment Associate at DTCP Infra. 

Laura has over six years of experience in finance, of which three in digital infrastructure. Since joining DTCP Laura worked on the execution and management of maincubes and GreenScale, also serving as a Board Observer for GreenScale. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2022, Laura worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions team of Goldman Sachs in the Consumer and Healthcare team as well as on the Emerging Market Equities desk in London. At Goldman Sachs, Laura was involved in Boston Scientific’s acquisition of BTG. 

 Laura holds a Law and Business degree from the University of Warwick.  

Amber Reid

Associate

Amber Reid is an Associate at DTCP Infra. 

She has been involved in advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Open Dutch Fiber. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2024, Amber worked at Mazars in London, in the Deal Advisory team, where she completed her ACA and at Digital 9 in London, in the Digital Infra Investment team, where she was involved in the acquisition and management of Verne Global and Elio Networks. She also served as a board observer at both firms. 

Amber holds a BCL in Civil Law from the University of Galway and an MSc in International and European Business Law from the Trinity College Dublin.

Arvind Vurakaranam

Associate

Arvind Vurakaranam is an Associate at DTCP Infra. 

He has been involved in advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Community Fibre and GreenScale. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2024, Arvind worked in the Investment Banking Division at Bank of America in New York and London, in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Technology, Media & Telecom team. He was involved in the execution of multiple transactions including Vantage Towers’ IPO, and Vodafone’s sale of Vodafone Hungary to 4iG, among others. 

Arvind holds a BSc in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.

Melanie Böttcher

Senior Manager Capital Formation Real Assets

Melanie Böttcher is a Senior Manager, Capital Formation Real Assets at DTCP. 

She executes effective capital raising strategies and maintains relationships with DTCP’s LPs. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2021, Melanie worked as the Consultant Investor Relations at cometis and as the Associate Investor Relations at Atlas Copco, where she worked on the takeover and squeeze-out by Atlas Copco. 

Melanie holds a BA in Communications and Management from the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences.

Yulha Koo

Analyst

Yulha Koo is an Investment Analyst at DTCP Infra. 

She has been involved in advising on the origination, execution, and management of companies, including Cellnex Netherlands. 

Prior to joining DTCP in 2024, Yulha worked in the Investment Banking Division at Macquarie in London, in the Mergers & Acquisitions team, where she was involved in the execution of multiple transactions including the acquisition of Aryza by Pollen Street Capital / Macquarie Principal Finance.
