Philipp von Bismarck joins DTCP as Managing Partner
Hamburg, January 20th, 2023 – Digital Transformation Capital Partners (“DTCP“) is pleased to announce the appointment of Philipp von Bismarck as new Managing Partner of the firm.
Philipp joined DTCP as Managing Partner for its Digital Infrastructure Vehicle II (“DIV II”) on January 1st,2023. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a transactions lawyer and has been deeply involved in digital infrastructure transactions for more than a decade.
He joins the firm from M&A-focused boutique law firm Wendelstein, where he was a Founding Partner since the firm’s inception in 2011. Previously, he held positions at Hengeler Mueller and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. He currently serves as non-executive Chairman of the Supervisory Board of United Internet AG, a publicly listed telecommunications and internet service provider group of companies in Germany.

Philipp von Bismarck will lead DTCP’s DIV II as Managing Partner alongside Vicente Vento. The fund invests in European digital infrastructure in the areas of mobile towers, fiber networks and data centers. DIV II focuses on equity investments with long-term value creation potential, strong downside protection characteristics, and best-in-class ESG credentials.
